MonoDevelop should tell me what version of MonoTouch I am running. In "About MonoDevelop" "Version Info" there is a MonoTouch listed, but it is listed as 0.0.0.0.Also, the "Version Info" box is almost uselessly small. It took me forever to scroll to monotouch, and you can't resize the "About MonoDevelop" window.MonoDevelop: 2.6 RC1Runtime: Mono 2.10.4 (tarball Mon Aug 8 22:03:39 EDT 2011)Operating System: Mac OSX (Unix 18.104.22.168)
The "version info" box isn't very useful, since most of the assembly versions are not specific enough to identify a particular release. In general, it's just confusing to users. I would remove it.
Note that MD 2.8 no longer loads the monotouch assembly, so it won't show up in that list anyway.
The assembly list (including version numbers) has helped me in the past to diagnose issues, so I want to keep it. We can add a more prominent tab with real version information about MD and other products like MT.
