Description Wouter 2012-05-11 07:59:15 UTC
Using:
MonoDevelop 2.9.5
Runtime:
	Mono 2.11.1 (master/426188e Thu Apr 19 19:14:12 EDT 2012)
	GTK 2.24.10
	GTK# (2.12.0.0)
Apple Developer Tools:
	Xcode 4.3.2 (1177)
	Build 4E2002

When I create an empty Web Application and Start Debugging, an error shows up:
"Could not launch web server. The "xsp4" web server cannot be started. Please ensure that it is installed"

If I choose "Start Without Debugging" the server starts up just fine.

Works with MD 3.0.
Comment 2 Wouter 2012-05-16 10:13:37 UTC
Just downloaded/installed the new MD, the error still shows up.

MonoDevelop 3.0 (3.0.1)
Runtime:
	Mono 2.11.1 (master/426188e Thu Apr 19 19:14:12 EDT 2012)
	GTK 2.24.10
	GTK# (2.12.0.0)
	Package version: 211000000

	 Build 4E2002
Comment 3 Jeffrey Stedfast 2012-05-16 13:50:55 UTC
does it work with the latest stable Mono release? That's likely what Michael tested against.

Mono 2.10.9 (tarball Mon May 7 20:25:51 EDT 2012)
Comment 4 Wouter 2012-05-21 02:55:02 UTC
Hi Jeffrey,

It does work with the latest beta release.
Thanks.

There's another open bug for the Mono 2.11 issue.
