Description Haakon Haugli 2016-12-02 22:11:29 UTC
Compiling and running my application on iOS-simulator works fine.
When I Archive for publishing i get a Error MT2002.

Error MT2002: Failed to resolve "System.Void Splat.LocalizableAttribute::.ctor(System.Boolean)" reference from "Splat, Version=1.6.2.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null" (MT2002)

This sounds like a referenced assembly is missing from your project.

In such case it might work on the simulator, where the JIT is used, since it would be a runtime error (if that code is reached).

To deploy on device we need to link and AOT all the code, which means this becomes a build time error - since all code will be reached.

The good news is that the error won't surprise you, or your customers at runtime. However it means you must supply a valid, and complete, set of assemblies as the input.

If you can attach a test case that reproduce this then we should be able to confirm this and be more specific about what's missing.

Removed code that implemented ILogger in our code.
