Description mwg@thoughts.net 2016-12-01 02:21:50 UTC
When attempting to add a connection from VS to my MAC for my cross-platform solution, although I can add both the UserID and Password in the popup dialog, the "Login" button is not enabled. Similarly, right clicking on an existing connection, "Remove" is not enabled. Existing connections have a expired password, hence the reason I am trying to replace them. I have logged on into VS as both the user and the system admin to have the same results. I am using the latest updates for both VS and Xamarin.

How do I enable the functionality? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for reporting!

It seems your SSH fingerprint is not being retrieved, there was a bug that might be related: https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=47263#c46.

If that bug is not related or the information there is not useful for you, can you please reopen this bug and add the following information?

1. Xamarin Logs
Go to the menu "Help - Xamarin - Zip Logs". Please attach that zip file to the bug report.
2. Environment information
Go to the menu "Help - About Microsoft Visual Studio" and press "Copy Info". Please paste that info in a Bugzilla comment.

Thanks!
