When building a Xamarin.Android binding library on OSX with Xamarin Studio, we are faced the following problem during bindings generation. The same solution builds correctly on Windows with Visual Studio 2015 and latest Xamarin (as of 30th Nov)

Which is caused by the method name

The only solution is to exclude the entire method from metadata.

jonp: can you think of any better approach than current style to fix this issue?

My quick idea is to add another metadata item name to specify an arbitrary private field name, if that's the only matter.

General simplification is better, if applicable.
