RESOLVED NORESPONSE

Description xarkam 2012-05-02 08:26:15 UTC
The request to open a file. Sln in monodevelop via the contextual menu does two things:
monodevelop open but empty
Visual Studio is launched and opens the .sln asked by the context menu for monodevelop.

That's strange, it sounds like the solution workbench isn't handling the file and is instead handing it off to the OS. I do think that files explicitly passes to MD should not be handed off to the OS - they should be ignored, or opened with the non-default editors such as the hex editor if possible. But we should figure out why these solution files aren't opened as solutions.

Is that with all solution files, or just particular ones? Can you open the same solution file via the "File->Open" menu?
