Description Randy Syring 2012-04-30 16:55:22 UTC
NUnit provides for assembly-level fixtures:

http://www.nunit.org/index.php?p=setupFixture&r=2.6

This seems to work fine when running tests at the assembly level through the Unit Tests pad. However, if you drill down to tests at the class or method level and run them, the assembly-level fixtures are not ran.

Take this code:

https://gist.github.com/2562557

If I open Unit Tests pad and right click on Some -> Project -> Tests and choose "Run Test" then the order of execution is:

DBInit.SetUp()
MerchantTest.SetUp()
MerchantTest.Insert()

However, if I instead right click on Some -> Project -> Tests -> MerchantTest -> Insert and choose "Run Test" then the order of execution is:

MerchantTest.SetUp()
MerchantTest.Insert()

DBInit.SetUp() is not run.
