I'm not sure what the problem is, or what component this should be filed against. Can you describe in a bit more detail exactly what failed? Also, can you attach the log files from the session where the failure occurred as well as attach the relevant version information for the software you have installed.

Thanks!

Hi,
It's the "xamarin forms previewer" from "visual studio extensions".
You preview a file contraining the described class and it fails with the given message.
Comment 3 Alan McGovern 2016-12-20 11:48:54 UTC
Can you attach a sample which can reproduce the issue? There's not enough information in the original description to figure out what's going wrong.
Comment 4 softlion 2016-12-20 15:12:49 UTC
Well i can't as the xamarin forms previewer does not work anymore at all on any computer we tryed.
Comment 5 Alan McGovern 2016-12-20 15:26:16 UTC
Can you attach the logs from the session which failed? It would also be worth trying the latest alpha release in addition to whatever release you are currently using. It has improved several aspects of the previewer which may help you.
Comment 6 Alan McGovern 2017-01-04 10:48:58 UTC
Please reopen the bug if you have issues with the latest alpha releases. We'll need the logs from that session, or a copy of the project, to diagnose the issue.

Thanks!
