RESOLVED FIXED

Description Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2012-04-30 12:49:09 UTC
To repro:
* Clear code completion caches
* Open monodevelop/Main.sln

MD hangs for ~10 seconds.

It's fast for me - do you've a kill -QUIT output ?

Generation takes about 3 secs for me and I can work during this time.
Comment 2 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2012-05-01 13:41:17 UTC
I think it might be that the solution pad is slow to load, and it seems slower because the parse is running at the same time?
Comment 3 Mike Krüger 2012-05-01 14:19:53 UTC
The parse is done in background - therefore it's unlikely, but not impossible.
How many cores does your machine have ?
Comment 4 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2012-05-01 14:48:34 UTC
4 cores, 8 hardware threads (i7 2.2GHz)
Comment 5 Mike Krüger 2012-05-03 10:16:53 UTC
Should behave better now.
