RESOLVED NORESPONSE

Description giovanni.murabito 2016-11-09 18:42:19 UTC
Hi,

after the built of my Watch App, XS remains stuck in pending with the message "Waiting connection to the dugger on port 10000 via WiFi"

If in the meanwhile I try to open the app on my Apple Watch the console shows the following error and my app presents only a black screen:

Launched watch application '[...]' on 'Apple Watch' with pid 228
Exception: Xamarin.Hosting.MobileDeviceException: Send Message Error (error: 0xe800002d)
  at Xamarin.Hosting.RealDevice.StartSession () <0x110815cd0 + 0x0009d> in <filename unknown>:0
  at Xamarin.Hosting.DebugService+<AttachToNativeDebuggerAsync>c__AnonStorey6.<>m__0 (System.Object v) <0x110815340 + 0x000cf> in <filename unknown>:0
[MVID] ada94aabf2864c338f2196fd647e7347 0,1

After this the debugger remain blocked and the is not usable.

Can you make a check?

Thanks in advance.

Bye,
Gio

Try rebooting your Mac and seeing if that fixes it.

Hi,

the result is the same after different restarts.

I'm using Xamarin Studio 6.1.2 (b44) and Xcode 8.1, I also tried with XS 6.1.1 but nothing seems to change.

Please note that your support to Apple Watch is very boring and the only way to get a working app is to upload the app on test flight, because also the iOs simulator doesn't work.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Giovanni

Can you get the logs as described here: https://github.com/xamarin/xamarin-macios/wiki/Debugging-on-watchOS-device#when-something-doesnt-work?
