When you deploy an application without the x86 ABI to a x86 emulator, you get the following error: https://gist.github.com/2398667
We should instead produce a nicer message something on the lines of "Make sure you have selected the x86 ABI when deploying the the x86 emulator"
Not sure where you are talking about.
In 4.1.1, VS will block you from doing it in the IDE.
Are you wanting this for MD? Or a better message in the logcat?
I am wanting this for MonoDevelop but a better logcat message would be good too - our testers had the same issue with this and didn't how to "fix" the issue: https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4334
K, MD will get this automatically when it migrates to using the shared deploy code that VS and msbuild uses. :)
Now it seems app deployment never finishes after printing "The assembly directory could not be created." ...
Mhutch added this.
