RESOLVED NORESPONSE

Description Brad Chase 2016-11-02 21:07:23 UTC
To Repro, put a bunch of pickers in separate rows of a grid in a contentview you can reuse. Put that content view in a new grid with multiple rows all filled with that contentview.

For the selected item of the picker make a multi line string. We used horizontal fill for ours.

What it causes are the pickers and rows to start going underneath the other controls that are farther down vertically.

TO FIX: We used a custom render for the Picker control and put in these lines:

                Control.SetHorizontallyScrolling(true);
                Control.Ellipsize = Android.Text.TextUtils.TruncateAt.End;
                Control.SetMaxLines(1);

Are you still experiencing this on the more recent versions of Forms, and if so, could you put together a reproduction project?
Comment 2 Brad Chase 2017-03-09 21:46:38 UTC
Yea when I get time I am going to look at this and some label measuring issues while in a grid. Just been busy lately.

Because we have not received a reproduction, we are closing this issue. If you are still experiencing the problem on the latest prerelease or nightly build, please reopen this with a reproduction project.
