The System.Net.Sockets.NetworkStream.ReadTimeout property is not present in the MOBILE profile:
(The !NET_2_1 block removes it.)
It would be useful if NetworkStream.ReadTimeout were present in MonoTouch & Mono for Android.
We should aim at adding APIs to Mobile Profile, as long as it does not introduce a dependency that bloats our executables.
I believe currently this means (a) No System.Configuration and (b) Being careful with both the covariant/contravariant patches in .NET 4 (c) Being careful with the changes to System.Reflection/Type definitions.
But other than that, we should be liberal in what we add to the MOBILE define. Let us go ahead and include this.
