If you try to use some APIs, like Metal with 32-bit you'll get confusing runtime errors.

It would be nice if we detected this and gave a nice user friendly error.

Often when you hit this, you are using "unsupported mono", since that is 32-bit only, which we don't support, but you can hit this in the other target frameworks.
