Description Joris Vergeer 2016-10-24 12:30:13 UTC
When debugging my app in visual studio 2015 with Xamarin 4.2.0.680 and Xamarin.Android 7.0.0.18, often when I press the pause button during execution when the UI is slow during a long operation, then the app crashes with these lines in the debug output:

10-24 14:19:22.547 F/        ( 7927): * Assertion at /Users/builder/data/lanes/3511/f4db8a57/source/mono/mono/mini/debugger-agent.c:8650, condition `locals->locals [i].index < header->num_locals' not met
10-24 14:19:22.547 F/libc    ( 7927): Fatal signal 6 (SIGABRT), code -6 in tid 7955 (Thread-8524)

I do have "Use Shared Runtime" and "Use Fast Deployment" enabled.

I Updated to the latest beta of xamarin + xamarin.android and the issue still exists on the exact same line in debugger-agent.c
