Does this need to be private?

Also, I don't think it's an enh, now that we have the autoformatter changing formatting on typing ";".

It's an enh because it's a missing option. For example in our 'mono' style 1 lined if statements aren't defined. (nor in the standard styles we provide)

But I've seen such formatting before, the option is valid - but it's an option. We have many options missing in the formatting definition, but we need to solve the option update problem in the policies first.
