VERIFIED NOT_REPRODUCIBLE

Description Rodrigo Kumpera 2011-08-25 16:36:09 UTC
To reproduce do:

Debug on the iPhone simulator. Stop the app but don't close the simulator itself.
Change the simulator target to iPad.
Debug the app again. It will fail to debug.

I can't reproduce this one. I've switched simulator targets a lot, and it still works perfectly.

In which way does it fail for you?
Comment 2 Rodrigo Kumpera 2011-09-21 14:24:26 UTC
AFAIR, the issue was related to lauching an iPhone app on an iPad simulator. The launch code would change it to iPhone and kill the debugged process in the meanwhile.

This was with the 4.3 simulator if it makes any difference.

Today I have checked this issue with following builds:

All Mac
X.S 4.0.9(build 15)
Mono 3.1.1
Xamarin.iOS 6.3.7-182

And we have followed the steps which are mentioned in this bug we are successfully able to deploy application iPhone template application when switch configuration to iPad Simulator. This is the screencast for the same: http://screencast.com/t/VZkciyJEzed

Changing the status to Verified.

In Comment#6 it is Platform not Configuration
