Hello,

I was unable to reproduce this behavior. If possible, could you please attach a sample app for us to use in reproduction attempts?

Thank you.

If disabling device-specific builds does not resolve the issue for the original reporter, that user can feel free to reopen this bug.

### GOOD Cycle 8 with "Project Properties > iOS Build > General [tab] > Enable device-specific builds" OFF

XamarinVS 4.2.0.680 (c4382f5)

Xamarin.iOS 10.0.0.6 (xcode8: 6c3fee4)
Mono 4.6.0 (mono-4.6.0-branch/746756c)
Xcode 8.0, Build version 8A218a

### BAD Cycle 8 with "Project Properties > iOS Build > General [tab] > Enable device-specific builds" ON

### GOOD: Cycle 7 SR 1 with "Project Properties > iOS Build > General [tab] > Enable device-specific builds" OFF

XamarinVS 4.1.2.18 (fcbe082)

Xamarin.iOS 9.8.2.22 (cycle7-sr1: f37444a)
Mono 4.6.0 (mono-4.6.0-branch/746756c)
Xcode 7.3, Build version 7D175

### BAD: Cycle 7 SR 1 with "Project Properties > iOS Build > General [tab] > Enable device-specific builds" ON

## Steps followed to test

1. I removed all the references to Syncfusion and replaced them with dummy implementations. (Modified test case attached.)

2. I set a breakpoint in the first line of `CarouselPage.OnAppearing()` (line 23 in `Carrousel.cs`).

3. I ran the app in the "Debug|iPhone" configuration.

## BAD Results

The debugger does _not_ break on the breakpoint. Instead the app proceeds through the initialization and displays a view with a blue background on the device.

## GOOD Results

The debugger successfully breaks on the breakpoint.

## Additional test environment info (brief)

Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2015, 14.0.25431.01 Update 3
