List of some of my project's builds with missing version on latest
Just updated Xcode and Xamarin today and whenever I go to the Build menu and select "Archive for Publishing", the package that is created doesn't have a Version Code (build number) set. I've checked my Info.plist and it seems fine.
I can't currently release any TestFlight builds because of this unfortunately.
Here a workaround for fix the bug on version code:
1) archive for publish..
2) click Reveal in finder on the generated archive
3) right click on the ".xcarchive" in finder and click on "Show Package content"
4)double click on info.plist
5)Under Application properties add a key "CFBundleVersion" and set it to you version code.
6)Sign in and distribute on archives in Xamarin studio
Thank you so much for your workaround. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Great release otherwise guys love Xamarin Studio on OSX.
