Description Jordan James Klassen 2012-04-11 18:44:28 UTC
Code folding does not work for me at all when editing Python files. The toggle indicators simply do not show up, and the hotkeys don't work either.
Comment 1 Jordan James Klassen 2012-04-11 18:54:34 UTC
I accidentally pressed enter before wanting to submit. Anyways, the other problems are that autocompltion doesn't work and the document outline doesn't work either.

I'm running ArchLinux, 64-bit. I have both Python 3.2.2 and 2.7.2 installed, and my development is targeting 2.7.

When launching from the terminal, monodevelop gives the following output:

ERROR [2012-04-11 15:43:05Z]: Error while reading welcome page contents.

Comment 2 Miguel de Icaza [MSFT] 2012-04-13 17:05:31 UTC
Due to lack of maintenance, we are going to be removing the Python add-in from MonoDevelop's distribution
Comment 3 Jordan James Klassen 2012-04-13 17:08:14 UTC
Well that's a shame. In a perfect world, I would pick up maintenance of it, but I probably can't.
Comment 4 Mike Krüger 2012-04-15 02:43:20 UTC
Y closing that as wont fix - but it's not only python, we're removing some backend bindings.

Atm we only have resources to support C#.
