RESOLVED FIXED

Description Alan McGovern 2016-09-01 10:25:52 UTC
1) Create a normal console application, reference the desktop Xamarin.Mac.dll and make sure libxammac.dylib is local copied.

2) Invoke `NSApplication.Init (); Console.WriteLine (NSApplication.SharedApplication)` in the code

3) Run the application like: mono path/to/executable.exe

Result:
You are using dlopen without a full path, retrying by prepending /usr/lib
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.DllNotFoundException: Could not find the runtime library libxammac.dylib

As a fallback can we make Xamarin.Mac use something like: `dlopen (Path.Combine (Path.GetDirectoyName (typeof (NSApplication).Assembly.Location), "libxammac.dylib")` when trying to load the native binary. This will help the standalone usecase
