Description Oleg Demchenko 2016-08-30 22:01:37 UTC
Building Xamarin.Mac application which contains appex fails in Release configuration when signing is turned on.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Pull ExtensionSamples from mac-samples repository
2) Set signing options to automatic for release config. Identity - "Mac Distribution(Automatic)". Profile - "Automatic"
3) Build All in release configuration

Actual:
Build fails with the following error:
https://gist.github.com/olegoid/d17daeeef5daf3c0aa2edbd75bb54253

Expected:
Build without errors.

Notes: this regression was introduced between XM 2.10.0.68 and 2.10.0.81 and it is related to adding/removing files from app bundle after signing.

It might be that this issue is related to #43893.
Comment 3 Jeffrey Stedfast 2016-08-31 17:21:29 UTC
That commit only affects Xamarin.iOS's MSBuild logic, so I don't see how it could break Xamarin.Mac?
