Found a bug in the properties of a given control when using Storyboards. If you create a label (any control with a text field that is definable in properties is the same), switch the label text to "Plain", enter text in the field below and then delete all of that text the "Label Text" placeholder appears again. From here you can enter more text that appears grayed out and does not display in your label. In the attached image I entered the characters "sd" and the string "Label Text" appeared after. If you move the cursor away from the box it returns to the string "Label Text" and the label remains blank.
Thank you for taking the time to file this bug. Could you please provide the version information so that we can better triage and reproduce the issue?
I believe we've fixed this already and the fix is in the current alpha release. If you can still reproduce the issue in the current alpha please let us know and reopen the bug!
The master fix was: https://github.com/xamarin/md-addins/commit/74323a78d41b5fba1c8ffb2ac5ed0e71f53b7785
The cycle8 fix was: https://github.com/xamarin/md-addins/commit/925e4e248be7b5e9c855b17bd7cf76de95f6d023
It is not in the current alpha release, but it should be in the next one.
