Intermittent random SIGSEGV cashes occurring when navigating throughout application. Fatal signal 11 (SIGSEGV), code 1 appears in different stages throughout debugging. Sometimes at startup and most of the time while navigating between pages and interacting with views.
## Steps to reproduce
1. Open .sln file. Clean and Build Solution
2. Deploy application to an Android Tablet (preferably 10.1” Marshmallow emulator)
3. Click on cloud icon (upper-right) to download test login data
4. Fill out login forum with anything (password can be anything as well, you can click on each field then click on OK to populate them)
5. Begin navigating through the various screens and perform actions to prompt the random SIGSEGV crash.
## Expected Results
Application continues to run smoothly without being interrupted by random SIGSEGV crashes.
## Actual Results
Application will randomly crash at any point with a SIGSEGV error, sometimes at startup while other times it crashes while navigating through the applications activities. Crash errors are always SIGSEGV crashes, with no confirmed indication of where this is originating from.
## Version information
Microsoft Visual Studio Premium 2013
Version 12.0.30723.00 Update 3
Microsoft .NET Framework
SQL Server Data Tools 12.0.30919.1
Xamarin 188.8.131.520 (2e39740)
Xamarin.Android 184.108.40.206 (4e27558)
## Additional Information
It seems that the application will run into Null object reference errors when trying to deploy to anything except tablets. Most of the debugging was done on either a 7” 5.1.1 Lollipop emulator or the 10.1” Marshmellow emulator. This may be due to the theme having a screen size limitation.
Those particular crashes mentioned in this bug has been resolved Adding SQLiteOpenFlags.FullMutex in the SQLite connection constructor. This allows SQLite to utilize full async features available to the device.
App now throws new error messages that don't seem to have anything todo with this bug report, and crashes have been reduced.
