RESOLVED FIXED

Description PJ 2012-04-05 10:07:43 UTC
GLTriangle: On first load, the red triangle on grey background appears correctly. When rotated to landscape, the triangle does not appear and the grey background seems to fill half of the screen (the rest of the screen is blank). Rotating back to portrait results in the triangle re-appearing, but the triangle is translated up and to the left so that the top 20% of the triangle is truncated. The triangle also is stretched so it is taller and thinner.

This behavior was seen on a Galaxy Tab 7 (Froyo)

A similar behavior was seen on the HTC Flyer (GingerBread). The only difference is that the triangle never disappears, but is scaled and translated in either orientation.

This translation issue is occurring with GLCube as well on rotations. This is in addition to the other open GLCube issue where the cube becomes flat in landscape orientation.

I can not replicate this on MfA 4.2.7 and a Galaxy S 2.3.6 The rotation of the triangle and the cube appear correct in all orientations.

Today we have checked this issue with following builds:

X.S 4.0.5 (build 2)
Mono 3.0.11 ((no/edc181c)
Xamarin.Android 4.7.4-14

We are still seeing this issue for Android sample GLTriangle. As on first load, the red triangle on grey background appears correctly. When rotated to landscape, the triangle does not appear and the grey background seems to fill half of the screen (the rest of the screen is blank). While android sample GLCube working fine.

Device info:
Galaxy Tab7(Froyo)
Samsung S2 (2.3.3)
