Description Adam Patridge [MSFT] 2016-07-14 20:31:22 UTC
NOTE: This seems to affect all buttons within the iOS Designer window except the "VIEW AS" device drop down.

One example:
If I select a fully constrained label and modify its font size in the Properties pad under Label > Font [click] > Size, the control goes orange to indicate the runtime frame doesn't match the designer frame. But at that point, trying to click on the "Update frames based on constraints" button doesn't work. You need to click elsewhere first. Just about anywhere but the font property pop-up seems to work, you can even Cmd+Tab away and back and click it. You can even try the first click, then mouse away and back again, and the click works. Attempting to click that button does make the font properties pop-up go away, but it doesn't seem to allow button clicks until you click elsewhere first (or mouse out and back after the first click attempt).

Repro Steps:
1. new single view app
2. open storyboard
3. add label
4. constrain leading to left
5. constrain top to top layout guide
6. modify font size
7. without clicking anywhere else, try to click "Update frames based on constraints" button (additional clicks without moving the mouse will also not work)

Workaround:
8. mouse over "Remove existing constraints", but don't click it
9. return cursor to "Update frames based on constraints" button
10. click

Thanks so much for taking the time to submit this report! I can confirm using the latest Visual Studio 2017 Preview version 15.3 I am able to reproduce this issue. Marking this report as CONFIRMED.
Comment 2 Kent Green [MSFT] 2017-07-13 00:35:42 UTC
I've tested this in Visual Studio for Mac, and I do not reproduce the issue; "Update frames based on constraints" works when used immediately after resizing.
