RESOLVED FIXED

Description Yves Delcoigne 2016-07-10 07:59:25 UTC
Xamarin Forms: 2.3.0.107
Xamarin Forms Maps: 2.3.0.107

When adding the Google Play Services Maps Nuget package (version 29.0.0.1) in the Android project, The following errors occur when trying to build:

Error: attribute "imageAspectRatioAdjust" is already defined.
Error: attribute "imageAspectRatio" is already defined.
Error: attribute "circleCrop" is already defined.

I've already been able to determine that this happens when adding both GooglePlayServices Base and Basement packages, so the attributes are probably duplicated in those packages.

Upgrading to alpha versions doesn't help me, since the latest alpha release of Xamarin Forms Maps still needs a reference to version 29.0.0.1 of the GPS Maps package.
Downgrading isn't possible either, or the Android Support packages would be a too low level.

This was fixed by deleting all the files in the AppData/Local/Xamarin/zips folder, and do a clean and rebuild of the project.
