RESOLVED FIXED

Description David Roth 2012-04-04 12:05:34 UTC
In master, monodevelop does not show any comments for BCL-types.
For types in the same solution it works.

Example:

void Test()
{
  System.Text.StringBuilder builder; builder.Append( // Tooltip shows up, but contains no docu.
}
Comment 1 Mike Krüger 2012-04-05 05:09:39 UTC
fixed.
Comment 2 David Roth 2012-04-14 08:14:11 UTC
Broken again in master.

Example:

void Test()
{
  System.Text.StringBuilder builder; builder.Append( // Tooltip shows up, but without documentation.
}
Comment 3 Mike Krüger 2012-04-14 12:15:08 UTC
fixed - I've improved the overload selection for that, but doing so broke overload selection for primitive types.

It should now work & show always the doc for the correct overload.
