your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
1) Write: var v = "Foo
2) Press the enter key before appending the ending "
3) This creates a multiline string. Now press alt-backspace to delete the automatically inserted '"' char.
Result: The texteditor scrolls all the way to the top. See screencast for visual example:
I had 100% the same file and did what you did - guess what ?
Editor didn't jump. However looking at the source I found at least one thing that shouldn't be there - I removed it and hope for the best.
The text editor event chain has become quite complex, the problem could be in the indentation text editor extension as well. Without having a 100% repro case it's hard do find.
Reopen, if the issue still appears.
