RESOLVED FEATURE

Description Eric Beisecker 2012-03-30 18:15:29 UTC
If you create an outlet in Xcode with the name 'view' it will disappear the next time you open the XIB File.

MonoDevelop should warn the user that the outlet name of 'view' is not valid.
Comment 1 Miguel de Icaza [MSFT] 2012-04-24 12:22:49 UTC
We probably need to find a general mechanism for names that are invalid.

We should discuss this with Michael.
Comment 2 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2012-04-25 12:37:53 UTC
FYI, there is an outlet called "view" on the base class. It's being removed because it's redundant.
Comment 3 Vincent Dondain [MSFT] 2015-01-06 15:56:15 UTC
This is fixed already. If you name your outlet view it will be replaced by _view and will not disappear the next time you open the XIB File.
