Log file from Output
I am building a project from a Cross-platform Mobile template in Xamarin Android and I encounter the following bug:
Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State
Error Unexpected error - Please file a bug report at http://bugzilla.xamarin.com. Reason: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "C:\Users\jeric\Documents\Visual Studio 2015\Projects\Tutorial\DevConStart\DevConStart\DevConStart.Droid\obj\Debug\__library_projects__\" is denied. DevConStart.Droid C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Xamarin\Android\Xamarin.Android.Common.targets 974
Also if I manually created the __library_projects__ folder, it successfully build but when I deployed it I encounter error in creating APK with saying DotNetZip-ewqewq.tmp access denied.
I attached a log file for my building trace.
Kindly post your comment for your solution or if you experience it.
How did you get the `Tutorial\DevConStart\DevConStart\DevConStart.Droid` directory? Was it part of a .zip file that you extracted?
My *guess* is that it part of a .zip file of some sort, which contained obj\Debug, with permissions that prevent you from writing into it. I would suggest completely removing the `obj` and `bin` directories, then see if the build continues to fail.
As for the `DotNetZip-ewqewq.tmp` message, can you provide more information?
This is resolved now, I just mapped my project and SDK to other path with out space and special character. Thank you for assistance.
