Hi

After I saw Xamarin Inspector / Workbooks at Build 2016, I have been trying again and again to get it to work. I have tried on Windows 7 and Windows 10, and it does not work.

If I try to create a WPF workbook, it just says "Standalone session terminated" and I get the following error (where does 10.11.11.11 come from?) in the log file:
> [Info][00:00:00.0010001] AppSession: Starting Xamarin Inspector client
> [Error][00:00:14.8025802] ReplViewModel: unhandled exception: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 10.11.11.11:56809

What do I do wrong and how do I get it to work?

For Android, it is simple. NoSupportedAndroidDeviceError means you need to install a supported Android virtual device. We support the Visual Studio Android Emulator and the Xamarin Android Player, and the virtual device must have at least Android 4.4 (KitKat).

For WPF, I'm not sure what the issue is. The workbook client should be trying to connect to localhost in that scenario. Do you have anything in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file?

Another possibility is that you might need to add a firewall exception for Xamarin Inspector.

I have checked this issue with Workbooks 0.10.0.428 + Latest stable build and I am able to create and execute workbook app successfully.

I am also able to create and execute wpf workbooks app.

For Android Xamarin Workbooks support VS Emulator for android.I am able to create Workbook android app and executed successfully.

For Now I am closing this issue.
