The attached sample uses deep linking and works fine on iOS (although the KeyValues collection is always empty, see #40830).
The droid project has the AndroidAppLinking NuGet package installed, and calls AndroidAppLinking.Init from the MainActivity class. When you add a new item an ArgumentException is thrown when RegisterLink is called, with the error "No IAppIndexingProvider was provided".
Sample attached. In the sample you need to add a new item (the + item) to create a deep link.
Can you try with AppCompact support?!
It works fine when using AppCompat.
Should be fixed in 2.3.0-pre3
I have checked this issue with Xamarin.Forms 2.3.1-pre1 and its working fine.
Hence closing this issue.
