Description Kyle White 2016-04-25 17:09:38 UTC
This only happens on Windows, and works fine on Mac.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open XS on Windows
2. Add the NuGet source - https://www.myget.org/F/xamprojectci/api/v2
3. Create a new Android project
4. Add a Xamarin.GooglePlayServices package from this Xamarin feed

Actual result:
Adding Xamarin.GooglePlayServices.Basement...
Attempting to resolve dependency 'Xamarin.Android.Support.v4 (≥ 23.1.1.1)'.
Downloading Xamarin.GooglePlayServices.Basement 29.0.0.2...
ZIP archive contains unsupported data structures.

Expected result:
Adds successfully :)

Could you try clearing some caches and rebuilding? This could be a corrupt download.

Delete:
C:\Users\[Your-User]\AppData\Local\Xamarin\zips

As well as any folder starting with Google* or Android* inside of:
C:\Users\[Your-User]\AppData\Local\Xamarin

I've tried deleting these directories as well with no luck. The failure is still happening when attempting to add it as a project reference from the package manager.

Setting back to confirmed as I am still able to reproduce.
Comment 4 Jon Dick 2016-05-10 13:31:25 UTC
Seems this is related to MyGet somehow doing something funny. Closing the issue, we can reopen if this problem persists with the next batch of builds.
