RESOLVED FEATURE

Description John Ruiz 2012-03-21 13:01:00 UTC
This bug is actually against 2.9.2, which is not in the Version list box.

Mono 2.10 and MD 2.9.2 support .NET 4.0, which is analogous with Visual Studio 2010. However, when creating a solution in MD 2.9.2, the format used is 10.00 (Visual Studio 2008).

Anyone using Visual Studio 2010 to open my solution is prompted to "upgrade the solution".

Is it possible to use the VS 2010 (11.00) format version for solutions?

Yes:

The default is now VS2010 but if your preferences have been carried over from an older version of MD they may still use the old value.

Note also that if you set your project to use .NET 4, MD will upgrade the format to VS 2010, since VS2008 format does not support .NET 4.
