Just wanted to make you aware of this, a few months ago when Miguel was working with my app on a 64 bit serialization issue I made him aware that when choosing "device specific builds" in the project options it only pushed 32 bit builds which he didn't think was supposed to be the case. Anyways, I'm using an iPhone 6S and my app tells me when I'm 32 bit vs. 64 bit. When I use this option to try and save some time in debugging on the device note that it only pushes 32 bit builds.

This seems to work as expected (i.e. I get a 64-bit build using Device-Specific Builds) in the upcoming cycle7 release (XI 9.8.x).
The only way you won't get 64-bit builds is if you have configured your project to only build 32-bit ARM architectures in the iOS Build project options.
That *should* hold true for current stable as well, but perhaps there was a bug that's been fixed in the meantime?
The project is and has always been setup ARMv7 + ARM64 (debug/iphone) if you want to test that specific setup.

ARMv7 + ARM64 is what I tested with as well and it worked (I got a 64-bit build when I targeted my iPhone 6).
I'm using the current alpha release, though, so it's possible there is a bug in the stable release of XI.
I am testing on alpha now and confirmed this is working properly.
