Description Daniel Cazzulino 2016-03-17 16:19:26 UTC
Currently, the error ends up in the Error List, but it's not visible until you close the dialog and open that toolwindow, and the same goes for the output window.

Moreover, the status bar states that there was an error and instructs the user to open the logs (??), which should be the LAST thing we suggest at this point.

These kind of errors during connection should show up on the connection dialog itself, probably alongside the single-line status update that's also rendered in the status bar, but keeping the last error as the status. Probably with an expanding panel to show the rest inline? Or a link to open the Xamarin output window?

We need Antonio's input for these changes.
