Hi! I'm not sure if it's due to the recent patches I got, after my original copy of Xamarin Studio occasionally crashed, but I'd not been able to compile my Android game project till date. The problems are in stages:
1) Xamarin Studio complained that I needed to install the contents of android_m2repository_r25.zip manually, with the other ZIP files being invalid. Having done that, or compile again, it ever goes to stage 2 or 3... directly to 3 if I manually created the folders.
2) It then complained that it couldn't create two directories to save contents in them (Example of one of them: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Xamarin\Android\Xamarin.Android.Common.targets(2,2): Error MSB3371: The file "C:\Users\Omar\Desktop\Documents\Projects\Com.Septnur\Com.Septnur\obj\Release\resourcecache\4B342337E6FE3B7D507F8E110873B165\cache.stamp" cannot be created. Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\Omar\Desktop\Documents\Projects\Com.Septnur\Com.Septnur\obj\Release\resourcecache\4B342337E6FE3B7D507F8E110873B165\cache.stamp'. (MSB3371) (Com.Septnur)').
3) This is where things turned for the worse. Relating to Xamarin.Android.Support.V4, I received up to TWENTY-SIX error messages complaining that various properties in Java files relating to properties they were named after do not exist.
I need help. It's been almost 3 days, and my current license will expire next week. I need to publish my game on Google Play ASAP. Thanks in advance.
Never mind. Got my fix here: https://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/17349/compilation-error-unzipping-failed-please-download-https-dl-since-xamarin-studio-v5-0-upgrade
