Description martin.robins 2016-02-24 23:35:21 UTC
Create a new Xamarin Forms (portable) project in visual studio.

Add a new XAML form to the portable project as follows...

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<MasterDetailPage xmlns="http://xamarin.com/schemas/2014/forms"
									xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2009/xaml"
									x:Class="App3.Views.MainPage"
									Title="MasterDetailPage" IsPresented="False">
	<MasterDetailPage.Master>
		<ContentPage Title="Master">
			<Label Text="Master"
						 VerticalOptions="Center"
						 HorizontalOptions="Center" />
		</ContentPage>
	</MasterDetailPage.Master>
	<MasterDetailPage.Detail>
		<ContentPage Title="Details">
			<Label Text="Detail"
						 VerticalOptions="Center"
						 HorizontalOptions="Center" />
		</ContentPage>
	</MasterDetailPage.Detail>
</MasterDetailPage>

Set the MainPage in app.cs to new Views.MainPage() (or whatever you called yours)

Run the UWP application on Windows Phone 10 (10.0.10586.107)

Click on the "hamburger" to show the "Master" content.

No title (ContentPage.Title = "Master") is displayed at the top of the content. It should be.

I'm attaching the sample project I used to test this.

### Results
Forms 2.0.1.6505    BAD
Forms 2.3.3.193     GOOD

I was able to reproduce the issue with Forms 2.0.1.6505 however it appears to have been fixed in newer versions of Forms.
