The application compiles in debug mode and can be deployed to test devices, however when i compile for release to the app store the compiler throws this error.

I upgraded the Mac from snowboard to lion version 10.7.3 and had to reinstall the mono SDK, I also upgraded Xcode to version 4.3.1

Same for me!
I tried a doing new project - same error.
Please review soon - unable to compile so far!

i.e. Xcode 4.3[.1] was installed and Xcode 4.2 was removed (or never
installed). You need to install the optional "Command Line Tools" to get a
complete installation.

Perfect! Installed Xcode tools, fixed the issue
