RESOLVED FIXED

Description Skyler 2012-03-13 12:57:24 UTC
Description of Problem:

English version of MonoDevelop on Mac: Go to MonoDevelop (top menu), then "About MonoDevelop". The version I have installed is 2.10.8, and the text shows:

For full release notes, please see:
www.mono-project.com/ReleaseNotesMono2.10.8

This URL goes to an invalid page. It should be www.mono-project.com/Release_Notes_Mono_2.10.8 (note the underscores in the actual address).

Older Release Notes addresses may need to be updated as well.

Can you post a screenshot? I can't find the place you describe for some reason...
Comment 2 Duncan Mak 2012-04-24 12:29:08 UTC
I think this is probably a duplicate of https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2512

Depending on the version of MonoDevelop installed, the underscore issue was fixed in https://github.com/xamarin/md-addins/commit/5d0e9bb9d746a9579a764aff2916ef6b28944044, a commit made 4 months ago.

I can't see where this is on "About MonoDevelop" either so a screenshot would be really useful.
Comment 4 Skyler 2012-04-26 17:00:22 UTC
Odd... I must have been using a version of MonoDevelop from MacPorts; the one I get from the official site shows version 2.8.8.4 (not 2.10.x) anymore, and I can't find the same reference I had used before.

Go ahead and mark invalid until I can find the one with the problem (I'll open a new ticket, and add screenshots, if/when I do find that version).

This bug has been in the NEEDINFO state with no changes for the last 90 days. Can we put this back into the NEW or CONFIRMED state, or are we still awaiting response?

If there is no change in the status of this bug over the next two weeks, this bug will be marked as NORESPONSE.
Comment 6 Marius Ungureanu 2013-11-23 20:37:19 UTC
The about dialog has been redesigned. This is no longer a valid issue.
