# Description

The following sample app demonstrates an issue where a transparent overlay will cause touch events to fail on iOS. This causes a disparity in behavior, as the same layout will not fail to register touch events on Android

# Sample

Attached

# Steps to reproduce

1. Download Sample
2. Deploy to iOS Simulator/Device
3. Tap slightly below the “Content” button
4. Deploy to android
5. Tap slightly below the “Content” button

# Expected Results

Both steps 3 and 5 should register touch events and increment the counter located in the upper left of the view

# Actual Results

The counter only increments on Android

This was fixed a while back, I believe in 2.4.
