Description Yus 2012-03-06 00:58:18 UTC
I get the following error when doing a release build in Monodevelop. If I set "Enable debugging" to true, this error goes away. This is not an option for me however because I can't release an app with debugging turned on.

I have just upgraded to Lion 10.7.3 and Xcode 4.3, and am running Monodevelop 2.8.6.5 and monotouch 5.2.5. This does not happen in Monodevelop 2.8.6.4 and monotouch 5.2.3 on snow leopard.

@alan: do you have an idea what may go wrong - what is if 'strip' isn't installed or does have an error ?
Comment 2 Yus 2012-03-06 01:25:26 UTC
This is fixed. I found a duplicate bug logged and solved: https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3559#c3

Basically I just need to install command line tools from xcode 4.3 preferences/Downloads menu because I uninstalled xcode 4.2.

Thanks for your help.
