Description robi.rathmann 2016-01-10 18:28:52 UTC
Please try with this sample project.
http://developer.xamarin.com/samples/monotouch/appprefs/

1.Delete the app from the phone. (Tap icon for 3 sec and click the X)
2.Force quit iPhone's Settings app. (Double click the Home button, swipe to the app, touch the app card and flick it up and off the screen)
3.Start your program. Xamarin Studio installs it on the phone.
4.The app runs.
5.Force quit your app. (Double click the Home button, swipe to the app, touch the app card and flick it up and off the screen)
6.Go to Settings and modify the First Name.
7.Start your app.
8.In your app the modified variable gets the new value but all the other variables from Settings will be NULL.
In this case the Last Name disappears because it's value will be NULL.

Hi Robi, I tried to reproduce the bug but sample application works for me as expected(first and last name appear even after modification).

Could you please gist your environment details. In Xamarin Studio->About Xamarin Studio->Show Details->Copy Information.
