Source code that when used with a small file "test.png" demonstrates the exception

On Windows Phone 8.1 RT, the exception "Layout cycle detected. Layout could not complete." occurs, not when a page is first displayed, but after navigating to another page and then pressing the back button.

Using the attached code (apologies for the length), with a file called "test.png" added to the project, tap on the label "ObfuscatedString12" which will cause the navigation to the next page. Then press the back button. The exception occurs.

Can confirm that exactly the same issue occurs on Windows 8.1 Store apps (i.e. Windows desktop as well as Windows Phone)
Comment 2 Jason Smith [MSFT] 2016-01-06 09:05:31 UTC
This no longer reproduces against the latest master builds, should be fixed in 2.0.2
