Description Johannes 2012-02-27 22:00:59 UTC
Math.Round(0.5, 0, MidpointRounding.AwayFromZero) results in 0 when it should result in 1.

Taken from duplicate bug 3663:

Rounding of 0.5 away from zero gives 1 as expected in Microsoft VC# but 0 in
gmcs under Ubuntu 11.04. Compiler is 2.6.7.0 and test code is:

using System;
namespace ConsoleApplication1 {
    class Program {
        static void Main (string[] args) {
            Console.WriteLine (Math.Round (0.5, 0,
MidpointRounding.AwayFromZero));
        }
    }
}

Please note. The platform states PC Windows but this exists on Linux as well.

Proposed fix is in this pull request: https://github.com/mono/mono/pull/243

Please note that the happened in the case of digits == 0 (and using overload with digits) as the midpoint rounding mode was lost between calls.
