The Visual Studio Android Emulator that is baked into the VS 2015 platform does not work that well and has quite mixed results of "partially working" for different items.
Although this could be an issue with Microsoft's Visual Studio Android Emulator, I'm logging this as an enhancement as we get quite a bit of noise from customers regarding having a fluid experience with just installing Visual Studio tooling and things "Just Working".
Given that there was just a recent release of 2.0 for the VS Android Emulator, I'm bringing some attention here so our developers have more options when it comes to emulators.
*Various Tooling Issues:
Deploying to the Emulator
Could not connect to the debugger
Various Android Specific Issues(Keyboard / GPS Mocking / etc)
Some of these issues may be released by our efforts in the C7/C8 releases with regards to deploying/debugger.
Further logs / test cases will be collected here to help give insight into these issues.
Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2015 Version 14.0.24720.00 Update 1
