A customer has indicated that the dialogue for listing Macs on the current network provided a cached list containing Macs with IP addresses that are no longer valid.
He has provided a screenshot of his machine list that has been linked in this comment. The .131 item listed is what the dialog originally contained, but that’s no longer the IP address of the Mac. The current address for his Mac is .129, which he added via the Add Mac button.
The customer indicated that there appears to be no way to get the .131 item to go away. Is this cached permanently?
### Additional information
Having customer try Right click -> Forget this Mac
Customer indicated the option was greyed out when attempting to delete Macs from list.
The list of Mac Servers contains either:
- Machines detected by Bonjour.
- Known servers (the ones the user was successfully connected at least once).
The option "Forget Mac" is only available for the second group, and any Known server will be there until it's explicitly removed.
Hope that helps to clarify.
