Description kontakt 2015-11-29 07:44:02 UTC
# Steps to reproduce
I build the app and start in debug mode. App does not start, debug does not start. It's happening just sometimes, I did not find any specific cause. It's happening on Simulator (now I'm using iPhone 5 iOS 9.0 but it is happening on others too) and I think it also happend on device but I don't remember.

# Expected behavior
App should start in debug mode.

# Actual behavior
Build succeeds, but app does not start at all, the Visual Studio status line stays blue and in Debug Output there is "Launching Application for debugging...".
this is in build output:
========== Build: 1 succeeded, 0 failed, 1 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========
========== Deploy: 0 succeeded, 0 failed, 0 skipped ==========

# Supplemental info (logs, images, videos)
Clean does not help. Trying again sometimes does help. Visual Studio restart helps.

# Test environment (full version information)
 I'm using Visual Studio 2015 Community and latest stable Xamarin.iOS and VMWare OS X Yosemite and Xcode 7.1. I'm connected to Xamarin Mac Agent.

Hi,

ok I will share the log next time this issue occur. I'm sure it's not the case with multitasking, because everytime it happens, restarting Visual Studio solves the problem itself and no interaction with OS X is needed.

Thanks

Xamarin logs

Here are the logs. The issue occured between 23:10 and 23:20.
If you see "Syst‚m nem…§e nal‚zt uvedenou cestu." it means "System can't find given path" (it's in Czech language). If there is some more in Czech language that you need me to translate for you, just let me know.

I have just added the logs.

Maybe it could relate to resolution I've just found for another bug I reported: https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=36497

Space or brackets in solution path could be causing the problem. Tomorrow, I will run my solution from different path and will report here the results.
Comment 6 kontakt 2015-12-04 10:40:39 UTC
I'm still experiencing the issue, changing the path did not help.
Comment 7 kontakt 2015-12-24 00:19:35 UTC
It seems that installing windows 7 hotfix solved the problem http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2588507
