Description adam.lickel 2012-02-23 18:42:48 UTC
The Mono framework should add an entry to /etc/paths.d with a value of:
/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/Current/bin

This will allow the man pages and command line tools to work, without polluting /usr/bin.

If that's not desirable, symlinks in /usr/local/bin would be more appropriate.
/usr/local is already part of the user's PATH.

Duncan, this is a good suggestion for our OSX packages.

Let us take a look at this for the 2.11 version

Released packages from 4.4.1 on use the /etc/paths.d method.
